One-Year Placement Programme
Our One-Year Placement Programme offers a comprehensive experience for those pursuing a career in accountancy and finance, providing the opportunity to gain real world professional skills while working with our highly skilled Financial Reporting team. You’ll receive both technical training and personal development opportunities, equipping you to thrive in your finance career. During the placement, you’ll work on live IPO projects, assist in the handling the day-to-day financial reporting requirements of a portfolio of corporate clients and assist in the preparation of their monthly management accounts and annual audits.
The One-Year Placement Programme is ideal for those needing a placement as part of their university degree and is an excellent way to gain valuable on-the-job experience, putting you in a strong position as you enter your final year at university.
Requirements:
- GCSE grade 7 (A) or above in Maths and grade 6 (B) or above in English Language
- Undertaking a finance-based degree with an expected 2:1
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and an ability to work as part of a team
- Strong time management skills to meet deadlines

Completing the exams on your journey towards a professional qualification is demanding and will require you to commit a significant amount of time and effort, which can often coincide with tight deadlines and long hours at critical points in your client portfolio. At ONE Advisory, we will support you and provide the tools needed to pass these exams, with a fully funded study support package, including days off for college-based sessions and the exams themselves.
Applicants should be driven to succeed and have the ability to manage tight deadlines in tandem to committing the time required to successfully pass the exams. Experienced hires
At One Advisory, our people make the difference, and we’re always on the lookout for bright, talented leaders to join our Financial Reporting team. The Plc reporting environment that we operate in is challenging and always rewarding.
As a member of the Financial Reporting team, you will be responsible for managing financial reporting and transaction support projects for companies either going through the IPO process or working with the CFOs and Financial Controllers of existing London listed companies with complex financial reporting and valuation requirements. In addition to this, you can expect to receive your own portfolio of Plc clients for which you will manage their day-to-day financial reporting obligations.
Away from the day-to-day operations, we look for individuals who are unafraid to instil change, explore new and innovative ways to drive the firm forward, and challenge the existing status quo in pursuit of growth and efficiency for the firm.
