Our history

One Advisory was founded by our Managing Director, Matt Wood (FCA) in 2006. Together with the dedication and hard work of long-standing colleagues, One Advisory grew to become a leading City advisory firm providing comprehensive and cost-effective financial reporting and governance advisory services primarily to London’s listed companies, guiding them through the complexities of life as a listed business, regardless of the stage on their journey.

Over the years, we cultivated strong partnerships with leading advisors in the City, earning the trust of investment banks, auditors, reporting accountants, nominated advisors, and lawyers within the capital markets arena. We’re proud to play a key role in London’s ECM community.

In 2025, we were acquired by FRP Advisory Group Plc and are now proudly part of the FRP Advisory group of companies. We acted for FRP on their IPO in 2020 and were retained as their Company Secretary after the IPO. From 1 May 2026, our Financial Reporting and Transactional Advisory team rebranded under the FRP banner with One Advisory continuing the Governance practice. As part of FRP, we are able to access extensive expertise across a wide range of complementary services.
