At One Advisory we are always on the lookout for bright, ambitious individuals at all levels of experience to join our growing Governance team.
We undertake a broad and exciting scope of work for our clients including:
- Board and Committee Meetings
- AGMs and other shareholder meetings
- Corporate Governance Code reviews and advice
- Annual report work
- Corporate transaction support
- MAR compliance
- AIM Rule 26 compliance
- Maintenance of group books and registers
- Board performance evaluations
- Drafting corporate governance framework documents and policies
Plus, in addition to the “day job”, colleagues at all levels are encouraged to involve themselves in projects where they can make a real difference to our dynamic, independent business as it continues to grow. This includes internal initiatives such as identifying efficiencies and refining our knowledge base, as well as outward-facing projects such as business development and brand-building.
Requirements:
- Over 18 on starting date
- Recent school or college level
- Strong academic record – A-levels (or equivalent) at grade ABB or above at starting date and at least eight GCSEs (including English and Maths, at grade B/grade 6 or above).
- Adaptable, detail‑oriented, and confident using IT systems
- A curious, proactive and positive approach
- Committed to excellence and continuous improvement
- Commitment to work at our Central London office at least four days a week

Early Career Hires – Graduates
Our Level 4 Corporate Governance Apprenticeship is designed to give you the tools, training and hands‑on experience you need to build strong foundations and progress with confidence.
You will be supporting senior colleagues in providing expert governance advice and support to Boards and their Executive Teams across a range of markets and sectors, from established private groups to AIM-listed tech startups to household name Main Market ESCC-listed companies – and everything in between. You will gain insight into how companies and Boards operate, and how they develop an understanding of effective governance structures which support robust decision-making.
The role combines practical, on‑the‑job learning whilst working towards a Level 4 qualification in Corporate Governance.

Experienced hires
If you are a motivated governance professional with solid listed company exposure (whether in-house or in professional services) and enjoy working as part of a friendly and high-performing team, a role with One Advisory as a Manager, Senior Manager or Associate Director could be an exciting next move.
To be successful, you’ll need to be capable of running your own client portfolio whilst also helping develop the skills of our more junior team members. In return, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference in a dynamic business that is continuing to grow. As a senior member of the team, you will be expected to take an active role in managing, training and mentoring junior team members, projecting our values internally and externally. You will also participate in business development and brand-building opportunities, as well as contributing to internal continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:
- ACG or FCG qualification
- 3+ years experience working with listed companies in an advisory capacity
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong board and committee support experience
