Angie Boothroyd (FCG)
Director - Company Secretarial, Governance and Compliance
Angie has ten years’ experience as a company secretary including in-house roles with large and complex listed companies. A former goldsmith, Angie ran her own micro business for a decade before deciding to broaden her horizons and enter the world of corporate governance. Having started her CoSec career at Hermes Fund Managers (now Federated Hermes), she qualified in 2014, after which she joined hedge fund manager Man Group (FTSE 250) followed by Marks & Spencer (FTSE 100). After a stint at BBC Studios, Angie progressed to professional services, first at Link Group and finally as a member of the ONE Advisory CoSec team in 2021.
With her background of in-house and outsourced CoSec roles, Angie aims to provide her clients with the best of both worlds, delivering expert, independent advice supported by market insights, while remaining a member of the “home team” in spirit. She is passionate about making the complex simple, helping boards to navigate the many and varied challenges that come with being a public limited company.
