Assistant Manager - Governance, Compliance and Company Secretarial
Kate joined ONE Advisory in late 2022 wanting to focus on her expertise in Corporate Governance and develop her Company Secretarial skills.
Kate gained 18 years of in-house AIM listed experience within the natural resources sector for companies with producing and exploration assets in Cameroon, Russia and Kazakhstan, in both the mining and oil and gas industries. Working closely with boards of directors and committees throughout their corporate calendars, managing corporate transactions, company secretarial functions and offshore entity administration. Her work within executive management teams enabled significant hands-on, in-country experience in governance, local community engagement and stakeholder management and faciliated the transition to a focussed ESG role in 2020. She evolved, incorporated, and implemented the corporate key values into the risk evaluation, decision making and reporting processes throughout the business from project to the board room.
Kate has held Non-Executive Director and pro bono roles in charitable and social enterprises for Women in Mining (UK), Neighbourhood Midwives and the Serge Betsen Academy. She gained a Law & Economics degree (BA Hons) from University College, Durham.
